Yoder Days Motorized portable toilet fun!
Each year on the fourth weekend of August is Yoder Days. It’s a family friendly event in the small town of Yoder, Kansas, with most of the events happening on Saturday. The parade on Saturday morning is a highlight for everyone, and Nisly Brothers employees love being a part of it! We usually have a rolloff truck or a rear load truck in the parade. This year, there was a special addition to our section of the parade – a portable toilet that moved on it’s own and drove through town!
Merrill, one of our salesmen, saw a video of someone in Florida who had made a motorized portable toilet. He loved the idea, and started brainstorming how he could use a Nisly Brothers toilet and an old mobility scooter and create one as well. He started working on it, but kept it a secret for months. He used a small camera on the front of the toilet, so he could see where he’s going. Merrill did a great job, and we’ve heard many people commenting on how much they loved the idea!
