Bathroom Renovation Project
One of the most common home remodeling projects is a bathroom renovation. It’s a relatively easy way to give your home a big upgrade without spending lots of money. If you have plans to renovate your bathroom, we have the solution for your trash. A 20-yard dumpster should provide you with plenty of space for your bathroom renovation project.
Recommended Dumpster Size: 20-Yard Dumpster
Kitchen Remodel Project
Another common renovation project is a kitchen upgrade. Kitchen renovations can vary greatly, depending on the size and scope of the project. Often, these projects produce a decent amount of waste, from flooring material to bulky items like cabinets. When choosing a dumpster for your kitchen renovation, the size you need will depend on the size of the kitchen you are remodeling and the type of material you are disposing.
Recommended Dumpster Size:
- 20-yard dumpster for smaller and partial kitchen remodels
- 30-yard dumpster for larger kitchen remodels that involve disposal of flooring material and cabinets
Living Room, Bedroom, or Office Renovation
Renovations for rooms other than bathrooms and kitchens usually produce relatively little waste, as long as it doesn’t involve furniture disposal or a lot of wall demolition. The material that will probably take up the most space is floor material, drywall, and furniture.
Again, the size of the dumpster you will need will vary depending on how extensive the project is and the type of material you are disposing, but for single-room projects, a 20-yard dumpster should be enough.
Recommended Dumpster Size: 20-yard dumpster for most projects

Flooring Renovation
A great way to upgrade the atmosphere of your home is to replace old flooring with new, up-to-date floor material. This is one project that can result in a lot of trash, especially if you’re tearing out old carpet. Carpet can take up a lot of space in a dumpster, so renting dumpster that’s a size bigger than what you’ll think you’ll need can make your project easier.
Recommended Dumpster Size:
Carpet
Single, small room projects: 8-yard front load dumpster
Multi-room projects: 20-yard roll-off dumpster
Whole house: 20 or 30-yard roll-off dumpster
Tile and Wood Panel
Single, small room projects: 6 or 8-yard front load dumpster
Multi-room projects: 8-yard or 20-yard for large rooms
Whole house: 20 or 30-yard roll-off dumpster
Exterior Siding Renovation
The interior of a home isn’t the only place where upgrades are often necessary. Renovating the siding of your home is a great way to increase your home’s curb appeal, and give it a sleek, modern look. These projects can produce a lot of trash, including long pieces of siding that are difficult to dispose of. Because of this, a dumpsters for home renovations with plenty of space is usually the best choice for a project like this.
Recommended Dumpster Size: 20 or 30-yard dumpster, depending on the size of the project

However, the area must be free of low-hanging wires that could present a safety issue to the drivers when delivering the container. The hoist to lift the roll-off goes 22’ high, so make sure the spot you’ve chosen has plenty of room.
