September 2020 – Customer of the MonthPhil’s Farm

Phil’s Farm is a small, locally owned, farm to table business, located near Hutchinson. They provide meat processing for customers and create many specialty meats that their customers love. These meats are all locally sourced, high quality meat. In the years since Phil and Lucy started Phil’s Farm in 1999, the business has seen incredible growth. It is USDA licensed and federally inspected, and has become a full-service butcher shop, where they sell their own meats, as well as provide processing for customers. They expanded to their new building in 2011, and Phil and Lucy’s son, Jordan, along with his wife Lisa, joined their team in 2016.

Visit them at their retail location at 5303 S Whiteside Rd, Hutchinson or at the Wichita Farmers Market at 21st St and Ridge, to see all the delicious meat creations. One of their specialty creations is their “Baconburg” (pictured). It has German style sausage, 2 pieces of pork tenderloin, and sun-dried tomato basil sausage all wrapped up in bacon.
