BrightStar Discovery Center is a child-care center that opened in 2017 at 208 N Meridian in Newton, Kansas. Tiffany Stephey and Pepper Stephey, the owners, have worked in the school system for a combination of 30 years. They decided they wanted to open a child care center and found that Newton was a good place to do it. They take in children ages 12 months to 5 years. They are committed to using a passion-based curriculum and utilizing each child’s strengths through emotional and social growth. Their vision is to nurture the youngest of learners into caring and compassionate children who will be successful as they move through their young years into adulthood.
One of their customers stated, “BrightStar is one of the best preschools/daycare in Newton.”
