Anchor Inn | Commercial Trash Customer in Hutchinson, Kansas

February 2023 – Customer Of The Month

Tony & Rachel Flores bought Anchor Inn in 1977. Before it became the homestyle Mexican food restaurant it is known for today, it was a bar run by John Nelson. John called the bar Anchor Inn in honor of the Hutchinson Naval Air Station. Tony and some of his friends initially bought Anchor Inn from John, and Tony sold out of his share in Anchor Inn before buying it outright in 1977. Anchor Inn has expanded into two additional buildings since it was a bar.
