Meet the Administrative Team
President and CEO
Marvin Nisly is the President and CEO of Nisly Brothers Trash, Inc. He has over 35 years of experience in all aspects of waste management. He and his wife, Rosa, live in rural Hutchinson with one of their seven children. In his spare time, Marvin is working to get his private pilot’s license, and he also enjoys grilling for his family, traveling, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Arnold Nisly is Route Supervisor and is responsible for all route drivers, route planning, and driver training. Arnold also oversees our recycle facility. Arnold and his wife Judy live in rural Reno County and have four children. Arnold enjoys jokes, cattle farming, and visiting his daughter’s family in California.
Maintenance and Roll Off Supervisor
Harold Nisly manages container maintenance, roll off projects, and is a backup roll off driver. When he’s not busy helping with roll off, Harold works on special projects. He has been working with waste collection since he was a teenager and has accumulated a lot of experience. He and his wife, Judith, live in rural Partridge and have three children. Harold enjoys cracking jokes with his family and friends and experimenting with grilling recipes.
Meet the Office Staff
Alisha Nisly started working at Nisly Brothers in June of 2019. She is one of our office assistants and customer service representatives. She lives in Nickerson with her sister and enjoys slow-paced small-town living, tending to her plants, bike rides, and campfires on summer evenings. She also enjoys cooking up delicious foods, dining on sushi, and drinking tea. Alisha would love to one day ride the train across Europe and hike the Camino de Santiago trail.
Yvonne Riehl has worked at Nisly Brothers since 2022. When she’s not taking calls, giving quotes, and providing customer support at Nisly Brothers, Yvonne loves to cook and bake. She also enjoys reading and spends lots of time at the library.
Miriam Miller has worked for Nisly Brothers since October 2017. She is Nisly Brothers’ private accountant and has over 15 years of accounting experience. Miriam and her husband James, who drives a delivery truck at Nisly Brothers, live in rural Hutchinson. She loves being outdoors, and when the weather is nice, she walks the 2 miles to work. She lives close to her grandchildren and really enjoys when they come over to her house to play.
Sheri Nisly started working in the office at Nisly Brothers in the Summer of 2021. Her main job description is fielding our many phone calls and resolving customer’s needs. Sheri lives about a mile away from Nisly Brother’s along with her parents and younger brother. She enjoys reading, singing, playing the piano, tending her plants, and spending time with family and friends. Sheri would love to one day spend more time traveling and hopes to visit New Zealand, England, Italy, and Greece.
Jordan Nisly is Marvin’s son and grew up in the trash business. He started working at Nisly Brothers as a driver in 2015. Jordan’s customers often commented on his exceptional service. In 2021, Jordan started working in the office at Nisly Brothers to assist with customer service and office management. He lives in rural Hutchinson and Jordan enjoys reading, traveling, and snowboarding.
Holly Miller started working in the office at Nisly Brothers in the Fall of 2021. Her primary position is customer service representative which involves answering the phone and resolving customer’s questions and needs. She also helps with other miscellaneous projects. Holly is from rural Reno County and she enjoys photography and loves spending time outdoors.
Carol Nisly started working for Nisly Brothers in 2017. As Harold’s daughter, she grew up around the business and brings great insight to all she does. Carol is Special Projects Manager, as well as a customer service representative. She also works with Hands of Christ Ministries in Hutchinson. Carol loves all art, specifically watercolor and hand-lettering. In her spare time, she is often involved in these activities as well as kid’s ministry.
Meet Our Drivers
Jonathan Yoder has been with the company since 2001. He services many residents of our larger contracted cities. He takes good care of our customers, and they can count on him on a regular basis! Jonathan and his wife Hailey live in Partridge with their little girl. Jonathan has traveled to Europe multiple times. In his spare time, Jonathan enjoys traveling and playing Disc Golf.
Portable Restroom Service
Cliff Nisly has worked at Nisly Brothers since 2013. He services portable restrooms and does a great job. Customers often comment, “These are the cleanest restrooms I’ve ever seen.” Cliff lives in rural Hutchinson and does some part-time farming in addition to his work at Nisly Brothers. Cliff can often be heard singing, and he enjoys singing at many community events.
Darrell Yoder has worked for Nisly Brothers since October 2013. He works part time as a roll off driver. He lives in Yoder with his wife Ruby and has two adult children and three grandchildren. He enjoys gardening, with watermelons being one of his specialties.
Roll Off Driver
Freddy started working at Nisly Brothers in 2022 as a roll off driver. He services roll offs in Harvey County. Freddy lives with his wife and two children in Hutchinson. In his free time, Freddy enjoys visiting waterfalls and hanging out with his church family. He hopes to do more traveling someday.
Andrew Egli started working at Nisly Brothers in June of 2023. His routes include residential and commercial customers in Kiowa, Stafford, Pratt, Reno, Marion, and Kingman counties. Andrew and his wife, Sarah, have four children. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys working on finishing his house and canoeing when he can. He would love to visit the northwestern part of the United States someday.
LaVerne Stoltzfus started working at Nisly Brothers in February 2023. He drives an automated side-load truck and services residents in Harvey, Stafford, Reno, and Kingman Counties. LaVerne lives in rural Partridge with his wife and six children. He loves reading, riding dirt bike, camping, and making food on a smoker. On his bucket list is traveling to Israel to learn more about the place where Jesus lived and taught.
Container Delivery and Removal
James Miller started working part-time at Nisly Brothers in 2018. James is one of our delivery drivers, and he and his wife Miriam, who works in the Nisly Brothers office, live in rural Hutchinson. In the past, James worked at an auto body shop, and he still enjoys fixing up cars when he has time.
Jeff is Marvin’s son and grew up in the trash business. Jeff worked in the office, and in 2016 became a trash truck driver. Jeff has many fond memories of riding along on trash routes with his uncles and other employees as a child. He lives in Hutchinson, and Jeff enjoys classical music and playing his guitar and saxophone.
John F. Nisly
Container Delivery and Removal
John Nisly has worked for Nisly Brothers for over 45 years! He works part-time delivering and removing containers. He lives in Rural Hutchinson with his wife Sarah. He has 5 adult children who all enjoyed riding with him in the truck when he worked full time as a commercial route driver.
John Yoder has over 20 years of experience at Nisly Brothers. In the fall of 2015, he returned to the company after serving in Central America with his family as a missionary for several years. He lives in Arlington with his wife Renita and their three children. John enjoys playing with his children and camping.
Titus Nisly has worked for Nisly Brothers since 1975 and is a cousin to the three Nisly Brothers. Many of Titus’ customers in Reno and Harvey County know him by name and appreciate his great service. He lives in rural Hutchinson with his wife Marijane. Titus enjoys working on his family farm and reading.
Ain Garcia started working part-time for Nisly Brothers in November 2022. He runs the residential recycling routes in some of our Kingman, Reno, Pratt, and Stafford cities. When he is not working at Nisly Brothers, Ain works from home with his business Prime Welding, LLC. Ain lives in rural Abbyville with his wife and two sons.
Mervin Fisher started working at Nisly Brothers in 2020. Mervin runs rural commercial and residential routes in Reno, Kingman, Barber, Kiowa, and Pratt counties. Mervin and his wife live in rural Yoder, KS and have three sons. Mervin is also the owner of the Bull’s Eye Grill in Yoder and in his spare time enjoys fishing, hunting, and building custom turkey calls.
Vince Miller came to work at Nisly Brothers in August 2016. Vince fills in for drivers when they are on vacation, and he also helps with special projects around the shop yard. He lives in rural Hutchinson with his wife Ellie and his five children. Vince enjoys 4-wheeling, watching KU basketball, camping, and hiking.
Walter Miller started working part-time at Nisly Brothers in 2019. On the days he is not working at Nisly Brothers, he works with his family growing hydroponic tomatoes. He enjoys driving his rural Hutchinson residential trash route and providing dependable service to his customers. He and his wife Frieda and son Felix live in rural Partridge.
Roll Off Driver
Max Canady started working for Nisly Brothers in the Fall of 2021. Max is one of our roll off drivers and services Reno County. Max is from Arlington and enjoys woodworking as well as building homes. He has 12 children, and one day he has plans to retire and spend time traveling with his wife.
Austin Clements started working at Nisly Brothers in 2021. Austin runs a rear load route and services many of our residents in Harvey County. He lives outside of Hutchinson with his wife and three daughters. Two of Austin’s hobbies are hunting and fishing. He also really enjoys spending quality time with his family.
Stewart Miller started working at Nisly Brothers in November 2021. His routes cover many of our residential, Harvey County customers. He lives in rural Hutchinson with his parents and sister and is the youngest of eight children. In his spare time, Stewart likes working out and playing volleyball. Going to various volleyball tournaments and winning them are on his bucket list.
Justin Mathias started working at Nisly Brothers in June of 2023. He services most of our commercial customers in Hutchinson. Justin lives in Hutchinson with his wife Loni and their three children. In his spare time, Justin enjoys fishing, camping, and he’s a big Chiefs fan. One thing remaining on his bucket list is traveling to Europe.
Cameron Byard started working at Nisly Brothers in March of 2023. Cameron is training to learn all the routes so that he can cover for drivers when they are on vacation. He lives in Hutchinson with his wife, Amy, and three children. Cameron enjoys working out, spending time with his family, watching sports, and playing with his children. On his bucket list are sky diving and swimming in every ocean.
Nathan Reed started working at Nisly Brothers in July of 2023. He is a backup roll-off driver and helps with special projects. Nathan lives in Hutchinson with his wife. He enjoys working on his house with his wife and working on old cars. Two things remaining on his bucket list are sky diving and snorkeling.
Alex Basoco started working at Nisly Brothers in September 2017. He worked as a rolloff driver for over a year before transitioning to one of our full-time mechanic positions. He lives in Hutchinson with his wife, Kaylah and their three children. When Alex isn’t entertaining his children, he enjoys golfing with his friends and working on old cars.
Jesse Lilyhorn has been our chief mechanic since 2010. He lives in rural Reno County with his wife Sara and their three boys. Jesse enjoys spending time hunting or fishing with his boys. Jesse also enjoys grilling, and often the smells of Jesse’s lunch come wafting through the shop building.
Jorge Garibay started working at Nisly Brothers in July 2020. He started as a rear load route driver; however, when a mechanic position became available, he decided to take the opportunity to learn mechanics. Before moving to Hutchinson, he lived on the west coast, where most of his extended family resides. In his spare time, Jorge enjoys gardening and beekeeping. In Nepal, honey harvesters use suspended rope ladders to harvest wild honeycomb from mountainous regions, and he hopes to experience that himself one day.
Justin Shank started working at Nisly Brothers in August 2022. He fills the building maintenance and technician position at Nisly Brothers. Justin lives in Burrton with his wife and daughter. He enjoys riding motorcycles and four-wheelers, shooting guns, and playing pickleball. Some day he would love to go snow skiing and sky diving.
Jacob Clements started working at Nisly Brothers in August of 2021. Jacob is the building and grounds maintenance assistant at Nisly Brothers. This includes upkeep of the grounds and facilities, prepping toilets, container repairs, and other odd jobs. Jacob is a hard worker and does a great job of getting things done. He is from Hillsboro and enjoys catfishing and hunting.
Our Sales Representatives
Merrill Yoder started working at Nisly Brothers in 2017. He is one of our sales representatives and loves interacting with customers. They appreciate Merrill’s frank and cheerful attitude. He lives in rural Hutchinson with his wife Laura and two of his three children. Merrill enjoys reading and golfing in his spare time.
Steve Ellingboe has been a sales representative for Nisly Brothers since 2010. Customers enjoy Steve’s helpful attitude and laid-back nature. Steve is reliable and willing to go above and beyond our customer’s expectations. He lives in the Hutchinson area with his wife Fran. He enjoys nature and has a heart for animals.
